Google announces LG Nexus 4, Asus Nexus 7 and Samsung Nexus 10

The initial event of Google was canceled due to the Hurricane Sandy but Google still proceeded to announce three new Nexus devices which are the LG Nexus 4, Asus Nexus 7 and Samsung Nexus 10.

The LG Nexus 4 is a quad-core smartphone that runs the latest Android 4.2 jellybean. It’s got a 4-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 768 pixels. The processor is a quad-core Qualcomm Snadrpagon S4 Pro running at 1.5 GHz. It also has 2 GB of RAM, 8 or 16 GB of internal storage but it’s not expandable via microSD card.
The handset has an 8MP rear-facing camera featuring photosphere allowing to shoot panorama from more angles. Other goodies are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC, and a 2100 mAH battery. It measures 9.1 mm in thickness and weighs 139 grams. 8GB and 16GB models are priced at $299 and $349 respectively and will be headed to US, Canada, GB etc on November 13.

Nexus 7 has been known to the public earlier. The device has a 7-inch 1280×800 display, quad-core 1.3 GHz Tegra 3 processor, 1 GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm jack, 4,325 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jellybean.
Nexus 7 16GB model will replace the existing 8GB model and is priced at $199 as well. While a 32GB wifi-only model is priced at $249 and 3G model is priced at $299. It’s also headed to US, Canada, GB etc on November 13.

The Samsung Nexus 10 is a 10-inch tablet that’s claimed to have a display on par with the iPad 4′s retina display. Its 10.1-inch display offers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
Other specs are dual-core 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250 Dual processor based on ARM Cortex A15 architecture and a quad-core Mali-T604 GPU. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly bean out of the box and a battery that’s said to be able to keep it awake for up to 9 hours.
