Google launches 11.6-inch Samsung ChromeBook ARM-based notebook, priced at $249

Google has launched a new Chrome OS-based ARM based 11.6-inch Samsung ChromeBook laptop which offers itself in a fanless design, a thickness of 0.8 inches and weighs 2.43 pounds. The new ChromeBook has a battery life of 6.5 hours, a boot time of less than 10 seconds and supports full HD 1080p playback.

At a price of $249 or 229 pounds for the UK, pre-orders are available starting from today on Amazon & PC world. The price includes Google Now with Google Drive integration & 100GB free storage for 2 years.
The new ChromeBook is powered by a dual-core A15-based Samsung Exynos 5 Dual (5250) SoC. And it’s got 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal flash storage.
Types of connectivity include wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, an SD card slot, and a combo headphone + mic jack. The display offers a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and comes with a full sized chrome keyboard.
