Nokia introduces Lumia 920T in China, India to wait more

Lumia 920T While customers in India still wait for Nokia’s Windows Phone offering, the company has introduced Nokia Lumia 920T in the world’s biggest smartphone market—China. Nokia has introduced the device in collaboration with China Mobile, China’s largest mobile network.

Nokia CEO Stephen Elop said, “We are delighted to partner with China Mobile, the largest operator in the world, to introduce our first Lumia on Windows Phone 8 device in this key market for Nokia. We are excited for Chinese consumers to experience the most innovative smartphone with the best photography and navigation capabilities.”
Nokia’s Chief Executive Stephen Elop said last month that he was “pleased” with early sales. Surge in sales of the latest Lumia 920 and 820 models are seen vital for the company as it tries to turn around a decline in market share.
The India launch of these devices is still not confirmed by the company. It is expected that Nokia will launch both these devices in January next year.
