Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 makes a real-life public appearance at the MWC

Samsung seems all set to extend its tally of tablets with the Galaxy Note 8.0. A big ad of the 8″ slate was already spotted at the MWC grounds in Barcelona, but the device was now spotted publicly ahead of the announcement.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 was caught on camera near the entrance of the Mobile World Congress venue, while a group of Samsung PR girls were busy showing off the tablet in a photo-shoot.

The official specifications of the tablet are yet to be known but as the name suggests, the device will sport an 8″ display. Galaxy Note 8.0 is rumored to feature a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and is expected to be powered by the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The lucky by-standing fellow journalists managed to capture the whole thing on a video, too:

We are already in Barcelona and we will be covering all the announcement live. Stay tuned for more updates from the Mobile World Congress.
